A Message from Mayor Mark
Begich:
As a
founding member of the Kashim Toastmasters, I can attest to
its success in building public speaking skills. In my years
of public service, I have called upon the training and knowledge
I received from Toastmasters many times.
It is
in all of our best interests to become better public speakers.
Any time you are trying to make an important point, whether
at work or in a public setting, strong speaking and listening
skills are essential.
In a
world with so many competing voices, make sure yours is heard.
I continue to support the mission of Toastmasters, and wish
you the best in your future speaking endeavors.
